Adventure Courses

Government adventure courses with applications open

Mountaineering, skiing, rafting, kayaking, paragliding, scuba and more, from institutes run by the Government of India or a state government. Dates, fees and eligibility come from each institute's own website, and you apply directly with the institute.

Open now means the institute's own live listing showed seats on 18 Oct 2026. Courses from institutes that don't publish a live status (NIM, IISM, ABVIMAS, NIWS) aren't shown here — check them on all upcoming courses.

How this directory works
  • We list only institutes whose government status we confirmed on official sources, and only courses published on the institute's own website or schedule. Every course shows its source and the date we checked it (18 Oct 2026).
  • Courses are ordered by start date. Courses that have started or ended are never shown as upcoming.
  • Applications open appears only when the institute's live listing showed seats. Check with the institute means it doesn't publish a live status. Course dates and application dates are shown separately.
  • Restricted eligibility means the course needs an earlier qualification (for example an 'A' grade in a basic course) or is for a named group.
  • Seat numbers appear only where the institute publishes them. Seats left are a snapshot from the date checked.
  • Spotted something out of date? Tell us and we'll recheck it against the official source.

TravelTycoons isn't connected to any of these institutes and doesn't take applications or payments. Dates, fees, seats and rules are copied from each institute's own website on the date shown and can change — the institute's official page always decides. Not all adventure training in India is government-run: many private schools and operators run courses too; this directory covers only government institutes we could verify.
