TravelTycoons is a travel discovery and trip-planning guide to India, built around photography. It covers all 36 states and union territories and 116 places so far.

How we put the information together

• Photos come from Wikimedia Commons under Creative Commons licences. Every photo is credited to its author with its licence in the photo viewer.
• Coordinates come from Wikipedia and Wikidata. Distances shown are straight-line and are labelled that way.
• “Well known” and “lesser-known” labels use average monthly Wikipedia page views over the last two years — a public measure of attention, not visitor numbers.
• Budgets are estimates from typical per-km fares and accommodation ranges, shown as ranges. They are never quotes. The rate model was last reviewed October 2026.
• Seasons, permits and cautions are written by us from public information and reviewed October 2026. Rules and road conditions change, so always check official sources before you travel.
• Itineraries are suggested outlines built from each place's own details and its nearby places. They aren't timed routes.

What we don't do

We don't sell bookings or take commissions, and we don't invent reviews, ratings or visitor numbers. Adding a place to your trip doesn't reserve anything.
