• NIWS course registration form
• Medical fitness certificate (form in NIWS downloads)

How to apply

1. Ask NIWS for the course by email, phone or post, and check you meet its eligibility.
2. Download the course registration form, fill it in and send it electronically or by post.
3. Your place is confirmed once you pay the course fee (bank draft or NEFT).
4. A course runs only when at least 12 trainees have confirmed.

Prepare safely

• Be a confident swimmer before you go — most water courses require it — and follow the instructors' safety briefings on helmets and life jackets.
• Book non-refundable travel only after the institute confirms your seat, and keep copies of your ID, medical certificate and payment receipt.
• Check whether the institute insures trainees; if not, buy cover that includes adventure activities.
